You know...IT REALLY IS all about THE MIND...Step 1

Forget about the same 'ole terminilogy..."The Secret" and "Law of Attraction"...hyped up words that everybody (including me)uses...
Let's get real and really look at the issue...which boils down to Us...the People and our Minds...Yes! The Mind...it really does come down to our minds and how we "Think" and thereby "Feel" about ourselves and the world around us.
Our thinking is conditioned by the past of our lives and by the so-called limitations
and rules fostered upon us by our parents,school,and society while growing up....AND our thinking is also effected by our natural response stimulus to "Pain" and "Joy"...to that which effects our "Feeling Good" and "Feeling Bad"...
So then we really need to get in touch with ourselves...the Best time to do this,is when we are down-N-out...when we are in emotional despair and pain....
for pain causes us (if we let it and choose to do so..as I suggest)to sit down and EXAMINE ourselves...most people don't do this...instead they look for something outside of themselves to do....like tv,games,people,and activities in general,which will allow them to ignore,hide,or pretend nothing is wrong....
So when nothing is going right and we are in emotional distress....
Let's EXAMINE ourselves....get out some paper and a pen and start writing down what your feeling...and "I don't like this" and "I'm not happy about this"....
Yeah..get really REAL and HONEST with yourself...and watch what happens...if you do this being really truthful with yourself....then afterwards you feel better and you have a sense of emotional clarity and serene feeling of peace....

The Secret Behind The Law Of Attraction-"Unleash The Power Of The Secret"

What is the true secret behind the law of attraction? I am often asked.

The most common definition for the law of attraction is that “like attracts like”.

This definition, even though accurate, hardly explains how the law of attraction works.

Some people talk about vibes and frequencies, but what is the most scientific explanation of the law of attraction?

The true secret behind the law of attraction hinges on the concept of reality and how much of it we can perceive.

The reality of the universe out there is so huge that our conscious mind cannot handle it in its entirety, so it has no choice but to filter the reality and let only a tiny fraction of it in.

What you perceive becomes your reality, and what you do not perceive does not even exist in your reality or your universe.

So once you have chosen a part of the vast reality of the universe to be perceived by you, in effect you attract that part of the universe to you.

That part of the reality of the universe was filtered by you, picked by you, or in effect attracted to you.

Now, the most interesting aspect of this filtering, that we do constantly, is that these filters only let similar reality to pass through.

To give you an analogy, blue shades would let only blue light to pass through.

This applies to all of our senses and to our perception in general.

This is the secret behind the law of attraction. One who wears green shades is attracting green color, per se.

You can see the same mechanism in Quantum Physics. The reality that state of the universe (wave function) offers is incredibly huge.

The possibilities are vast, but our measurement devices, which are extensions of our senses, pick only a small part of that reality.

In effect, they filter the universe to get the part we want to observe.

In other words, we get from the universe, what we ask for. Why?

Because when we truly ask for something, we are filtering everything out except the thing we want to receive.

That’s how the universe gets us what we are asking for.

That’s how we attract from the universe what we truly ask.

But what does “truly ask” mean? How should you ask to attract exactly what you want?

"Invictus"by William Earnest Henley..."I am the Master of my Fate"...

"The following poem is a all-time classic and one of my favorites...

"Invictus"

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Napoleon Hill...author of "Think and grow Rich",
shared some of his thought about this poem....
He wrote.....
"YOU ARE ‘THE MASTER OF YOUR FATE, THE CAPTAIN OF YOUR
SOUL,’ BECAUSE…
When Henley wrote the prophetic lines, ‘I am the
Master of my Fate, I am the Captain of my Soul,’ he
should have informed us that we are the Masters of
our Fate, the Captains of our Souls, because we have
the power to control our thoughts.
He should have told us that the ether in which this
little earth floats, in which we move and have our
being, is a form of energy moving at an inconceivably
high rate of vibration, and that the ether is filled
with a form of universal power which ADAPTS itself to
the nature of the thoughts we hold in our minds; and
INFLUENCES us, in natural ways, to transmute our
thoughts into their physical equivalent.
If the poet had told us of this great truth, we would
know WHY IT IS that we are the Masters of our Fate,
the Captains of our Souls. He should have told us,
with great emphasis, that this power makes no attempt
to discriminate between destructive thoughts and
constructive thoughts, that it will urge us to
translate into physical reality thoughts of poverty,
just as quickly as it will influence us to act upon
thoughts of riches.
He should have told us, too, that our brains become
magnetized with the dominating thoughts which we hold
in our minds, and, by means with which no man is
familiar, these ‘magnets’ attract to us the forces,
the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize
with the nature of our dominating thoughts.
He should have told us, that before we can accumulate
riches in great abundance, we must magnetize our
minds with intense DESIRE for riches, that we must
become ‘money conscious until the DESIRE for money
drives us to create definite plans for acquiring it.
But, being a poet, and not a philosopher, Henley
contented himself by stating a great truth in poetic
form, leaving those who followed him to interpret the
philosophical meaning of his lines."

Then Hill says....."Little by little, the truth has unfolded itself,
until it now appears certain that the principles
described in this book*, hold the secret of mastery
over our economic fate."

*i.e. "Think and Grow Rich

William Earnest Henley(August 23, 1849 – July 11, 1903) was an English poet,
critic and editor.
At the age of 12 Henley became a victim of tuberculosis of the bone. In spite of his affliction, in 1867 he successfully passed the Oxford local examination as a senior student. But a hospital was to be Henley's university...."Invictus" was written from a hospital bed. His diseased foot, treated by crude methods, had to be amputated directly below the knee. Worse yet, physicians announced that the only way to save his life was to amputate the other also. Henley fought this prognosis with all his spirit. The radical surgical methods pioneered by Joseph Lister saved Henley's foot and indeed his life. He was discharged from hospital in 1875 and was able to lead an active life for nearly 30 years.Henley published several collections of poems: A Book of Verses and Bric-à-brac. Echoes, the collection in which Invictus first appeared was published in 1892 marking the end of Henley's most productive period.
Today...there isn't much available in Literature for Henley's work...Amazon has a title...
